Preparing For Your Training

Thanks for booking dog training or a dog training clinic with us.

We’re excited to have you join us.

By now you should have received a confirmation email if you’ve made a payment for your training and you’ll be able to find the specific dates, time and address by clicking back into the specific clinic booking page.

Below is some other general information to help you (and your dog) prepare.

Important Reminder

  • All dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.
  • Even if your dog is well-trained, not all dogs are. For everyone’s safety and comfort, please keep your dog restrained unless instructed otherwise during a session.
  • Arrive early enough to toilet your dog and settle in before we begin.
  • Water points will be available on-site, and muzzles will be provided if your dog requires one.

What To Bring

  • Dog lead.
  • A comfortable chair to sit on
  • Up to 2 dogs per paid participant (a young one between 4–12 months and an older dog).
  • No dogs for Observers, please.

Before Your Training

  • Practice walking your dog on a lead so they respect it.
  • Think about what commands you might like to use: over, back, round, left, right, away. Make sure it’s a short, practical command.
  • Don’t worry if your dog isn’t perfect – that’s what we’re here for!
